"Don’t Play Marcelo Against Chukwueze" – Brazilian Journalist Warns Coach Tite

Top Brazilian Journalist, Jeremiah Carlos, has warned Tite, the coach of the Brazilian team not to play Real Madrid left full back, Marcelo against Super Eagles pacy winger, Samuel Chukwueze when both teams meet on the 13th of October in Singapore.

The friendly game will enable both teams prepare for their upcoming competitive engagement and Carlos believe if the coach plays Marcelo against Chukwueze they could pay heavily for it due to his focus which is mostly on overlapping.

Carlos said a pointer to how Marcelo will probably struggle against the 20 year old Nigerian was last season game between Real Madrid and Villarreal where Chukwueze proved to be too much for the Real Madrid defender.

” It’s a friendly game with a little bit of edge here. We all know what Nigeria can do if you’re not careful. In attack is where they can be deadly and it will be wise not to play Marcelo against the Villarreal kid ( Chukwueze) “,

” Marcelo loves to attack and Chukwueze is one who need space to operate. You have to watch the game against Villarreal last season to understand what I am trying to say. I believe coaches should approach games differently and that’s the case with this game”.
