Many passengers were injured on Saturday after two vehicles collided with a truck blocking road leading to Bende and Uzoakoli.
Igbere TV had reported that a Truck with plate number, KGE34XA which allegedly belongs to SETRACO blocked the major road in Isiugba, Uzo Okafia, which leads to Bende and Uzoakoli, in Abia State.
Igbere TV gathered that the truck blocked the road for almost two months without the owner of the truck coming to remove it.
Speaking to our correspondent on Saturday over the ugly incident, an eyewitness said the accident was serious and called on Abia State government to punch the owner of the truck.
He said “Today witnessed another serious accident in the spot. Bus clashed with the truck and the other van ran into the bush.”
“We pray that God will help the victims to survive and we call on Igbere patriots to ensure that the owner of the truck is punished in accordance with the law. Delay is dangerous.”
