Enugu state Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on Tuesday, held Mass with members of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial arms of government and others as he celebrated Nigeria’s 59th independence anniversary.
Others present at the celebration were Enugu heads of the security agencies, the state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Augustine Nnamani and Chairman, Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH, Igwe Amb Lawrence Agubuzu.
Igbere TV gathered that the celebration which was held at the Government House, Enugu, was also graced by the former Governor of old Anambra State, Senator Dr. Jim Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo.
To commemorate the annual ceremony, Governor Ugwuanyi also inspected a Guard of Honour, Igbere TV learnt.
