A group known as TEMEN — The Evil Must End Now, (A part of the Family Succour and Upliftment Foundation, by the First Lady of Ebonyi State, Mrs. Rachael Umahi, which protects the interest of women and other vulnerable individuals), on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the ministry of justice Ebonyi State. The aim of the visit was to partner with the ministry of justice to put an end to cases of rape and spousal abuse in the state, Igberetv reports.
Speaking at the visit, the commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Ebonyi State, Mr Cletus Okeke stated that it will work with the office of the First Lady and that it has already set out plans to ensure that the plans and objectives of the group are achieved.
