Joe Abah Reacts As He Didn’t Make President Buhari’s Ministerial List

Former Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Joe Abah, has said that he is ‘quite relieved’ not to have been named in President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees’ list.

The list was made public on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday, Igbere TV reports.

Responding to a tweet that said he would have made a difference among the ministers, Abah said: “Thanks, my brother. To be perfectly honest with you, I am actually quite relieved.

Abah had on July 10 revealed his expectations in President Buhari’s second term in office.

He said he was hoping to see ‘major, disruptive and transformative interventions in electricity, jobs, security and education’, adding that incremental progress in the aforementioned areas would not be sufficient for him.

“In the next 4 years of the Buhari government, I will be looking for major, DISRUPTIVE and transformative interventions in Electricity, Jobs, Security and Education. Incremental progress in these areas will be insufficient for me,” Abah said.
