PEPT: 'Atiku Will Appeal Judgment' - Peter Obi's Close Ally Reveals(Photos)

A close ally to the People’s Democratic Party Vice Presidential candidate in the 2019 election, Peter Obi, Mr. Charles Mouka , has revealed that the candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will appeal the rulings of the Presidential Election Tribunal at the Supreme Court.

Igbere TV had reported that the petition of the former vice president and his party was dismissed in its entirety, by the PEPT led by Justice Mohammed Garba, as failing to prove beyond reasonable doubt why the petitioners should be declared winner of the February 23 exercise.

Speaking over the outcome of the tribunal, Mouka said PDP lawyers have requested from the court for the  release of the judgment paper within 24 hours to enable them study for appeal to the Supreme court.

He said : “Buhari (APC) wins Atiku (PDP) at the Appeal Court Tribunal yesterday and PDP lawyer requests from the court for the  release of the judgment paper within 24 hours to enable its study for appeal to the Supreme court.”

“Friends thank God for its intriguing outcome and let our hearts and our minds remain fixed at discerning and understanding his intentions for all that God allow are always for our good (Gen 37: 25-28, 41:12-57). “

“Lets continue to trust him on our hopes and expectations.”
