Less than 24 hours after the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) elective convention, where ex Vice President, Atiku Abubakar emerged the party’s flag bearer for next year’s presidential election, all seems not to be well the party.
Reports reaching IGBERE TV newsroom indicates that the outgoing Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has threatened to dump the Party over alleged grievances arising from the National Convention held on Saturday in Port – Harcourt , Rivers State.
The governor hinted IGBERE TV correspondent on Monday that he would renounce his “membership of the PDP Any moment from now .β
He added, β After consultations , I will speak clearly to Nigerians.β
A former Vice -President , Atiku Abubakar , was declared the winner of the party βs presidential primary, defeating the Sokoto State Governor , Aminu Tambuwal, Senate President Bukola Saraki, and eight others .
The Rivers state governor reportedly stormed out of the venue with his supporters shortly after the declaration of the winner.
