Following the recent campaign launched by O.U.K Volunteers to buy the senatorial nomination form for Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu to contest for Abia North senatorial seat, over 1500 Nigerian youths have contributed 1000 naira each.
According to a post shared by the OUK Volunteers via their Facebook page,
“Within 24hrs Over 1500 Youths have Donated 1K via Bank or Cash. Join us now! Pay 1K to OUK Volunteers 1007100076 Keystone Bank. We are determined to Buy APC Senatorial Nomination Form for Orji Kalu”
Igbere TV had reported that the youths described Kalu as a dynamic and trusted leader who has created many jobs and should be at the National Assembly to continue his good works.
The youths noted that they know Kalu can afford his nomination form but want to show appreciation for all he has done for them. And to make sure no stone is left unturned in ensuring that he gets to the National Assembly where they are sure he will make a mark.
