The Senator representing Kogi West senatorial district in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, has been released by Immigration officers
Melaye on Monday had announced that he was arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airports enroute to Morocco for official engagement.
the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS, had explained that Dino was arrested base on instructions.
However, Melaye’s release was confirmed by his colleague, the Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani.
The Kaduna lawmaker wrote on Twitter, ”Dino is back home.”
