Nnamdi Kanu’s bail ruling: Security agents prevent Fani-Kayode, journalists from court

A mild drama is ongoing at the Federal High Court Abuja, as security operatives, prevented former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani- Kayode from gaining entrance into the court to witness the proceedings of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu is facing trial alongside three other pro-Biafra agitators, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi before the justice Binta Nyako-led court.

The former Minister sought to get into the court but was blocked by operatives of the Department of State Service, DSS.

Journalists are equally facing tough hurdle to gain entry into the court room, with a few that managed to squeeze in, ordered to surrender their handsets.

The ruling will also determine whether FG should be allowed to shield identities of witnesses billed to testify against the defendants.

Justice Nyako is billed to deliver judgement on the bail application of Kanu and the other agitators.
