Easter : CEO Of Second Coming Gas Felicitates With Christians, Vows To Keep Helping Abians

The Chief Executive Officer of Second Coming Gas Limited, Dr. Basil Ogbuanu, on Sunday, felicitated with Nigerians and Abians as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus’s death today.

Igbere TV had reported that Dr. Ogbuanu donated 35,000 litres of cooking gas valued at N5.5million in support of Abia State Government in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic in the state.

In a goodwill message made available to Igbere TV by Dr. Ogbuanu, he vowed that his organization will continue to lift lives and raise hopes even in the midst of daunting challenges.

He also expressed expressed regret that this year’s Easter celebration is being observed in lowkey as a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, expressing optimism that God will come to the aid of our country and make the current challenge a thing of the past.

The statement reads,

“On behalf of the management and staff of *SECOND COMING GAS LIMITED*, I wish to felicitate with the good people of Nigeria at this year’s celebration of Easter.”

“This season which marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his conquering power over grave and darkness no doubt is the pillar of our hope for eternal life.”

“Though our nation is currently having its fair share of the global pandemic, COVID-19 a disease that has claimed over 100,000 lives across the world, our faith is anchored on the supreme power of the Almighty Messiah to see us through at this hour of challenge.”

“The impact of the disease accounts to why there is a low-key celebration of Easter globally, including Nigeria where some faithful are unable to converge as a result of the measures being put in place by the government to curtail the spread of the outbreak.”

“As an organization, we draw our support from our community which is why we have consistently treated with the deserved seriousness our corporate social responsibilities.”

“Not to blow our trumpet, the most recent of these is the ongoing free gas dispensing worth over N5.5 million in which about 2,500 Abians will benefit at the end of the exercise, our own little way to assist in cushioning the effect of restriction of movement. We will continue to raise hopes even in most difficult times like we have at the moment.”

“By the most special grace of God, subsequent celebrations in our country will be in its full swing, devoid of any fear of stay-at-home order. We also join in praying that in no distant time, our people will go back to their various businesses to the glory of God.”

“Happy Easter once more”
