Despite his ill- advised conviction over alleged fraud and money laundering, a road construction intervention project attracted by the senator representing Abia North, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu will soon be completed.
Igbere TV reports that the road located in Acha Ozara in Isuikwuato LGA, Abia commenced last year.
The project sponsored by NDDC is currently at its asphalt laying stage, ready for use soon.
The former governor who has since appealed his conviction by a Federal High Court in Lagos on corruption-related charges had earlier assured his constituents that his absence will not affect his assignment as their representative.
