Senate President, Sen. Ahmed Lawal, today, congratulated and shared in the joy of Senate Chief Whip, H.E Senator Orji Uzor Kalu over his victory at the appeal court last week Thursday.
Igbere TV reports that Kalu appeared in a northern inspired outfit for today’s plenary.
The Abia North Senator who doubles as the “Dan Baiwan Hausa” of Northern Nigeria was hosted in the Senate President’s office after the day’s plenary.
Igbere TV recalls that the court of appeal led by Justice Stephen Adah had on Thursday affirmed Senator Kalu as the winner of the February 23, 2019 National Assembly election in Abia North Senatorial District. Senator Orji Uzor Kalu was also joined by Senator Yahaya Abdullahi the majority Leader of the Senate.
