President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, received a team of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) at the presidential villa, Abuja, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV learned that the International Red Cross delegation, was led by the National President, Mr Peter Maurer.
Founded in 1863, the ICRC is a humanitarian institution based in Geneva, Switzerland, and a three-time Nobel Prize Laureate.
Announcing the visit in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV, Mr Bashir Ahmad, Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, wrote;
“President @MBuhari receives President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (@ICRC), Mr. Peter Maurer and his team today, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.”
