Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji (IKUKU OMA ABIA), has today condoled with the Family of Late Chidiebere Onwuka popularly Known as “Ekpujones” over his untimely demise, IGBERE TV has learned.
Speaking during the condolence visit to the family, the Speaker described the death of late Mr. Chidiebere Onwuka as painful. In his words, “I was shocked when I received the news of his demise. So painful”. He admonished the family not to worry themselves too much about the burial of the late Ekpujones, but rather on how to train the children he left behind. “You have to be strong for the children”, he said.
The Speaker promised to contribute to ensure that the widow of the late Ekpujones and her children are adequately supported in this time of bereavement and beyond.
Responding on behalf of the Late Ekpujones’ family, Dr Azubuike Onyebuchi, the Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia, thanked the Speaker for showing the qualities of a good leader by visiting and comforting them, and prayed God to bless his reign as the Speaker of the 7th Abia House of Assembly.
Meanwhile, late Mr.Chidiebere Onwuka (Ekpujones), would be buried on the 6th of September, 2019, in his hometown in Isuikwuato LGA of the State.
