Alex Ikwechegh Foundation was the first non-governmental organization to visit the woman whose fingers were cut off by Fulani Herdsmen in Abia. He had generously footed her medical bills back then.

Just recently, Chief Ikwechegh donated huge sum to the family of Chimaobi Nwaogu, who was shot dead by Corporal Ajayi Johnson for allegedly refusing to give N100 bribe at a military checkpoint in the state.

The former Council Boss, who was represented by Chief Kalu Uche of the Alex Ikwechegh Foundation, also announced a full free scholarship for the deceased children.
