In throwback video, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama narrowly escaped being beaten in Austria after some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB disrupted a meeting he was presiding over, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV recalls that some IPOB members attacked and beat former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu mercilessly in Nuremberg, Germany.
In a video sighted by Igbere TV correspondent, Onyeama was holding a meeting at the Nigerian Embassy in Vienna, Austria when a group of young men stormed the venue carrying the flag of Biafra.
They wasted no time in hurling insults at the Minister and criticizing the Nigerian Government. Onyeama, sensing trouble, quickly left the area.
