Junaid Mohammed, Second Republic lawmaker, has condemned last weekend’s attack on former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu by members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Nuremberg Germany.
Igbere TV reports that Junaid said the attack would serve as a lesson to politicians and leaders from the South East who are secretly funding the organisation to cause mayhem in the country.
In his words,
” I think it is condemnable. We are trying to play the lousy politics we play at home on the international stage. Ekweremadu is not my kind of person but he is entitled to some respect as an individual and prominent person from his own area”.
