The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Tuesday, stormed the private residence of Mr Akinwumi Ambode, immediate past governor of Lagos state, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV gathered that officers of the anti-graft agency, Lagos Office, are currently raiding the home of the former governor located in Epe area of the state.
Mr Tony Orilade, EFCC Spokesman, confirmed the development over the telephone but did not give further details on the matter.
Igbere TV, however, learnt that it may not be unconnected with a bank account allegedly linked to Ambode, which is currently being investigated for alleged fraud running into billions.
