Former Minister Reacts To Attack On Ekweremadu By IPOB In Germany

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the attack on Senator Ike Ekweremadu by aggrieved members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had earlier reported that the immediate past Deputy Senate President was petted with stones by members of the IPOB, today, at an event in far away Germany.

Reacting in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV, on Saturday, via @realFFK, Fani-Kayode said what happened to the Enugu West Senator was just an eye-opener.

He, therefore, called on politicians from the Southern part of Nigeria to “stand up” and “defend” the people, warning that people of the region are getting angry.

“What happened to my friend and brother Sen. Ike Ekweremadu in Nuremberg, Germany at the hands of IPOB is an eye-opener and clear signal to every political leader in southern Nigeria! The people of the south are getting angry and you either stand up and defend them or stand aside!”, he wrote.
