Igbere TV has obtained the CCTV footage of the scary moment DJ Arafat rode to his death.
Igbere TV had reported that the Ivorian superstar died after a motorcycle accident in Abidjan, Ivory Coast’s capital.
The former Disk Jockey (DJ), with real name Ange Didier Huon, was 33 at the time of his death. He was considered one of the most popular Francophone artistes.
He issued 11 albums, mainly of “coupe-decale,” a dance music form combining choppy rhythms with hip-hop-style vocals.
His debut single “Jonathan”, which brought him to limelight was about “Death” and had its video clip shot in a Motorcycle Show held at the burial ceremony of his best friend “Jonathan”…Years later, he too died on a motorcycle.
In the CCTC video obtained by Igbere TV, DJ Arafat is seen riding his motorbike and performing a stunt before he unfortunately rammed into a car at a junction.
It started with him being handed the bike to perform the stunt. The late DJ was caught on camera pushing a fan away when tried stopping him. He had probably foreseen Arafat’s demise.
DJ Arafat was pronounced dead on Monday after he was admitted to a hospital in Abidjan, with a fractured skull after the accident on Sunday night.
