Ministerial Inauguration: "Don't Go To Abuja, Celebration To Hold In Abia" - Ogah Tells Supporters

A ministerial nominee and All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in the just concluded general elections , Dr. Samson Uche Ogah has urged his supporters not to travel to Abuja for the forthcoming “inauguration ceremonies” because the date has not been fixed.

In a statement signed by a Senior Aide to the Ministerial nominee, Damian Igbokwe and made available to Igbere TV, Ogah said that the ‘date of their inauguration is solely the prerogative of Mr. President and as of now, no definite date has been communicated or confirmed for the purpose and he wouldn’t want his people and associates to travel down to Abuja yet’.

He, however apologized for the inconveniences which this new directive must have caused to his supporters but assured them of ‘proper celebration’ in Abia State.

The statement reads,

“This is  to inform all Party members,Pro-Ogah groups and Dr. Ogah Support Groups across our dear State, who must have made all forms of arrangement and plans to travel to Abuja this week to be part of the inauguration ceremonies  of Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah as  Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria🇳🇬, to stay back in the State and await further directives.”

“His Excellency,Dr. Ogah has informed that the date of their inauguration is solely the prerogative of Mr. President and as of now, no definite date has been communicated or confirmed for the purpose and he wouldn’t want his people and associates to travel down to Abuja yet, hence he also has  plans to make proper celebration with them all in Abia State on a date to be announced after the inauguration.”

“Consequent upon the above, we wish to  apologize for all inconveniences this announcement must have caused all such supporters of the Honourable Minister designate and our teeming Party faithfuls.”
