Member representing Bende Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu has congratulated Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah and Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, on their nomination as Ministers by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Igbere TV reports that Ogah, the ministerial nominee for Abia State, was the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the Abia 2019 governorship election.

Onu, from Ebonyi State, who served as Minister of Science and Technology in Buhari’s first term, was returned as Minister designate for Ebonyi.

Once confirmed as Ministers, with portfolios, the duo will become members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

President Muhammadu Buhari had submitted a list of 43 ministerial nominees, which was read at the Senate plenary on Tuesday.

Ben Kalu in a congratulatory message sent to Igbere TV on Thursday, described Ogah as “a fulfilled entrepreneur who will bring his wealth of experience in actualising the next level agenda of President Buhari.”

He said that the nomination of the oil magnet was timely and will contribute in immense measure in the advancement of the development of the nation.

On Onu, the Federal lawmaker applauded the former minister of Science and Technology, over what he described as a legacy of excellence in the ministry where he held sway between 2015 and 2019.

He expressed optimism that the duo will play key roles in taking the nation to greater heights, urging them to remember that power should at all times be seen as a tool and not a crown.

The Abia born politician while calling on the would-be Ministers to use the position to serve the people, urged Nigerians to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari at all time.
