Igbere TV had reported that the appointment of Justice Muhammad Tanko as Chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN) was confirmed by the Senate.

He was confirmed on Wednesday after a gruelling screening at the National Assembly.

Following the confirmation, Tanko was spotted all smiles.
