A Nigerian Senator, Elisha Abbo who was arraigned by the Police in court for slapping a nursing mother mercilessly was spotted taking selfie today.
Igbere TV had reported that Senator Abbo was granted bail
of N5 million with two sureties.
The Presiding Magistrate, Senior Magistrate Abdullahi Ilellah, said the sureties must have verifiable addresses within the FCT.
Ilellah then adjourned the case to July 22nd for hearing.
Senator Abbo, who was arraigned on Monday on a one-count of assault, pleaded not guilty, Nigeria Tribune reports.
