The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), on Friday lifted the ban placed on Daar Communications Limited, Igbere TV reports.
Daar, operators of AIT and Ray Power FM, is owned by High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Director General (DG) of the NBC, Malam Isaq Modibbo Kawu, who announced the development in Abuja, said both parties had reached an agreement.
He, however, said management of Daar met some “conditions” before the decision was reached.
Igbere TV reports that AIT and Ray Power were, some time ago, shut down following alleged breach of broadcast codes.
