Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade is to spend the sum of N10 billion naira on entertainment in the year 2019, Igbere TV reports.
This was contained in the state’s 2019 budget sighted by Igbere TV on Friday.
Igbere TV reports that the sum was approved by the Cross River State House of Assembly for the state governor.
According to the breakdown, another N10 billion was approved for “financial assistance”, while N4bn was similarly approved for “contingency allowance”
The state governor had in 2018, spent the sum of N6 billion on entertainment, while hospitality gulped N10 billion naira.
Igbere TV recalls that Ayade had in 2018, presented a N1.3 trillion budget estimates for 2019 to the State House of Assembly for approval.
