Sen. Kalu/Abia North Celebration Deserved: A Call On Buhari… - Ogbe

Looking back on the struggles so far, the road to the Senate; the celebration of Sen Orji Uzor Kalu with Abians and particularly the people of Abia North, is merited and deserving…

In 2011 it was a mission delayed. 2015 was mandate inconclusive with a declaration of a winner that was later rejected by the court for a re-run in 2016.

Many thought it was the end of the road to political lines of Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu at the end of the 2016 re-run. Political analysts, analyzed not knowing the future. But God remained on the throne…

2019 was then, another opportunity for the people of Abia North to take the bull by the horn. As it seemed to Abians that victory was far from reach, the Orji Uzor Kalu’s brainstorming and working team, concerned people of Abia North made their decision on the choice of Sen Orji Uzor Kalu for a rescue of their decaying land from the hands of unfruitful individual.

As the clock ticked and as INEC kick-start campaigns, it became obvious there was no selling points that could be used to wash – wash away from the mind of the people their desire of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu for a better representation at the Red chambers…

The outcome of the 2019 elections is practically the mind and desires of the people of Abia North and it had always been. Though the rulings of the court is unquestionable but in the hearts of the people of Abia North, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu had always been victorious.

No wonder, Mr President Buhari’s free hands on the just concluded elections that gave oppositions the room to winning some states as the Nigeria Armed Forces (the Army and the Nigeria police) as experienced in past elections, seemed to had been re-branded for firm and justice to all and this, had made the people of Abia North to cast their votes and protected their mandates without fears of molestation to the end, with victory to be celebrated.

To all, that celebrated this moment of liberation, you worked for it because you deserve the best for our communities. At the end of this four years of Sen Orji Uzor Kalu, we must for sure, justify our choice by rapid developments that had even started while he was yet elected and more to come. We must stand the difference because the global world is growing faster and Nigeria and Abia North cannot be left behind, having the person of Distinguish Senator Orji Kalu there at the Senate, in combined efforts with his Distinguish colleagues to actualizing a better goal for the citizens.

We salute again, his loyalty to his political party the APC that had led to the S’East, not having yet, a portfolio from the APC in the 9th Assembly. We pray his loyalty be translated to good gains of making inclusive the S’East in the scheme of the Nigeria government to represent the lasting unity of our Fatherland.

Just like our President Buhari’s call on good Nigerians for support during the 2019 Next Level elections, we, his ardent supporters from the S’East and well meaning Nigerians call on him ( Mr President Buhari) and the able leadership of the APC, to peep into the leadership of the 9th Assembly and make inclusive the S’East, as Sen Orji Uzor Kalu of the APC, ranking with experience and commitments is in the Senate for better representation from the S’East.

Once again, we congratulate H. E, Sen Orji Uzor Kalu for his victory and successful inauguration into the 9th Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. May God grant him the wisdom needed to coast Nigeria and Abia North to profitable heights of our developmental and economic growth through making good laws.

It was indeed, a wonderful and successful celebrate…

Bernard Ogbe
