The Supreme Court has reserved judgement on the Osun State 2018 Governorship election, Igbere TV reports.
The apex court will now pass its judgment, July 5.
Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad, announced the new date when the Court resumed hearing on Monday.
Igbere TV reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke are challenging the victory of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Governor Gboyega Oyetola, as governor of Osun State.
They are asking the apex court to set aside the judgment of the Court of Appeal and restore the judgment of the Osun State Election Petitions Tribunal which declared Adeleke as the winner of the governorship election.
A seven-man panel of justices led by the acting CJN is expected to pass judgment on the matter on July 5.
