Former Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has been sworn in as a senator of the 9th National Assembly, Igbere TV reports.
He was sworn in on Thursday during first plenary by Senate President, Ahmed Lawan.
Igbere TV recalls that Okorocha was not inaugurated on Tuesday because he had yet to collect his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Okorocha, representing Imo West Senatorial District, was however issued certificate at the end of Tuesday.
