Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila has made his first appointment few hours after taking oath of office, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV had reported that Gbajabiamila emerged 9th House of Reps Speaker following the defeat of Hon Bago, his main challenger, on Tuesday.
The Speaker has announced the appointment of Hon Sanusi Rickiji as Chief of Staff.
Rickiji, Igbere TV reports, is a former Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly.
Gbajabiamila thanked the former Speaker, Yakubu Dogara for his role in the emergence of Hon Ahmed Idris Wase (unopposed) as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
