Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu says he will celebrate with people of his constituency over his electoral victory, June 22, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reports that Kalu, former governor of Abia, made the declaration on Tuesday, in Abuja while addressing thousands of supporters at his residence.
Igbere TV had reported that fans of Kalu on Tuesday, thronged the Abuja residence of the Forbes-rated billionaire immediately after his inauguration as Senator.
Kalu said, “I thank you all for coming, but like I said, I will be celebrating with those who voted for me, June 22.
“Abia North is my immediate constituency, not Abuja. So don’t expect much celebration here today.
“The celebration will take place in Igbere, I expect to see you all there.”
