Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has congratulated Senator Ahmad Lawan on his emergence as President of the Ninth Senate, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV had reported that Lawan representing Yobe North, defeated Ndume with 79:27 votes to clinch on to the Senate plum position.
In a tweet obtained from FFK’s Twitter handle to congratulate Lawan,
He wrote;
“Congratulations to Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan who has emerged as Nigeria’s Senate President. May God guide you.”
