The new Speaker, Offor, lost to Duruji, who on Tuesday, defeated him by garnering 14 votes against his 11 votes.

The new Speaker, who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015, lost his re-election bid on the platform of Okorocha’s Action Alliance (AA).
