OMO-AGEGE HAUNTED BY FEAR OF PASSED EVILS

Our attention has been drawn to a post captioned ‘RE: URHOBO POLITICAL GROUP PURPORTED ENDORSEMENT OF SENATOR ORJI UZOR KALU FOR DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT: MATTERS ARISING by one Bar Mathew Omonade though surprisingly, which suggested at best, that a prominent majority of the Urhobo nation under the aegis of the ‘Urhobo Political Group’ does not have a right to express and agitate that a mace snatcher and one so criminally indicted in the person of Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, is not fit for the exalted office of the Deputy Senate President (DSP) of the 9th Senate.
The ignorant hogwash of a post also suggested that a statement issued yesterday 31st May 2019, inviting all interested APC members of Urhobo extraction to a World Press Conference/ Protest at Freedom Square Abuja on the 10th of June, 2019 was a ‘show of shame and pettiness’.
On this, an epistle is not necessary.
One who truly passed through the four walls of the Nigerian Law school ought to be aware that everyone has the unfettered right to freedom of expression and association as guaranteed by the grund norm of the land which is the 1999 Constitution.
The writer, ‘BARRISTER’ Matthew Omonade by his post, though painfully, threw away 7 years of his life spent in pursuit of a law degree, by suggesting that based on his myopic recourse to ethnicity and of course, for obvious expected personal gains, such acts was ‘a show of shame pettiness.’
What a waste!
The said Barr Mathew Omonade was promised a federal appointment after his failed Delta House of Assembly ambition by Sen Ovie Omo-Agege and as such, is the motive behind his recent change in career from lawyer to media aide to Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege.
As we all know, nothing goes for nothing. Barr Mathew Omonade is working hard for redemption of this promise which may well be taking too long. The ‘Kokori experience’ may have served as an eye opener that none of such was certain – his only way out therefore, is to appear to be working hard for Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege’s interest hence his several stomach motivated media attacks.
The ignoramus even threw caution to the wind, abandoning the revered wig and gown and appointing himself CHIEF MEDIA ASSISTANT to SENATOR OVIE OMO AGEGE in a daft display of eye service!
Indeed history never forgets and facts even known to Barr Matthew Omonade are sacred – FLASHBACK BACK TO November 16, 2018 where the same Matthew Omonade painfully wailed about pains meted on him by the same mace thief, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege he now advocates for.
History still recalls how during the APC factional primaries for the Delta State House of Assemby (Ughelli North Constituency I ) ticket, how Mathew Omonade wrote: ‘A TIME TO HEAL…’ after deleting the same post where he accused him of being betrayed by the same mace thief; Sen Ovie Omo- Agege he now shamelessly parades as supporting in the interest of Urhobo.
What then, amounts to a show of shame and pettiness, if I may ask?
Is Mathew Omonade fully healed or merely scavenging for relevance in hope for a redeemed promise of appointment?
Barr Mathew Omonade thinks that by turning himself into a Facebook attack dog, he would be rewarded with a federal appointment as promised by the same Ovie Omo-Agege who scuffled his House of Assembly ambition, just last year.
Oh ye fool, harken to the voice of wisdom and think! Clutch thy wig and thy gown and repose the integrity expected of a lawyer.
On the issue of the APC Delta State House of Assembly (Ughelli North Constituency II) candidacy between Moses Anaughe and the DTHA elect, Olorogun Barr Jaro Egbo – one thing is clear and make no mistake about it: The Supreme Court has the final say and any right thinking lawyer knows this.
Labour not yourself any further because that WORLD CONFERENCE by the Urhobo Political Group shall hold and the opinions of prominent Urhobo sons and daughters shall be HEARD and duly CONSIDERED.
For all it is worth, Sen. Ovie Omo- Agege is haunted by these incontrovertible facts:
- SEN. ORJI UZOR KALU being from the marginalized South east geopolitical zone, also has a stainless reputation which gives him a higher chance to clinch the DSP seat.
- SEN. ORJI UZOR KALU as DSP will not bring disrepute to the 9th Senate as well as cases of mace theft will be a thing of the past.
- The odds lie more in favour of SEN. ORJI UZOR KALU as against SEN. OVIE OMO-AGEGE whose reeking betrayal came to light during the just concluded 2019 elections.
- SEN. ORJI UZOR KALU having been a former member of the Federal House of Representative and a Two-term serving Governor of Abia State, is more capacitated and ranking than the said SEN. OVIE OMO AGEGE.

The wicked runneth when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
The wickedness of Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege chases him away from his DSP ambition and even the acclaimed Barr Matthew Omonade knows this, bearing in mind what transpired between himself and the ‘DISTINCT ANGUISHED’ Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege during their factional primaries.
Ask Hon. Akpovoka Julius and he will tell you! Slaps from him to the mace thief have not yet been forgotten.
