JUST IN!!! US Introduces New Requirements To Visa Application

The United States of America (USA) has now introduced a new requirement to their visa application, Igbere TV reports.

This time, the US says you will have to submit all your social media usernames when applying for a visa into the country.

This is coming few weeks after the US announced it was suspending its ‘Drop Box’ visa service for Nigerian applicants.

According to the US Department, the new regulation also requires visa applicants to submit at least five years’ old email addresses and phone numbers.

This, according to a statement obtained by Igbere TV, is part of the US Department’s plan to ensure national security in the country.

“National security is our top priority when adjudicating visa applications, and every prospective traveler and immigrant to the United States undergoes extensive security screening.

“We are constantly working to find mechanisms to improve our screening processes to protect U.S. citizens, while supporting legitimate travel to the United States,” the statement read in part.
