A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Tunji Abayomi has urged Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the party to immediately resign his position, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reports that Abayomi spoke on the fall-out of the recent Supreme Court judgement, which saw the ruling party losing all elective positions in Zamfara.
Abayomi, who contested the last senatorial election under Action Alliance (AA), said he has been vindicated as the APC leadership failed to follow the partyâs constitution in the conduct of its primaries.
âOshiomhole has destroyed the APC and everybody was looking at him. What I find surprising is that he kept doing this and the people that raised their voice are demonized abused and yet, they are talking of anti-party. It was Oshiomhole and his NWC that committed anti-party activitiesâ he said.
