Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he would never coach Atletico Madrid or Barcelona, as he has previously managed their rival, Real Madrid.
The current Bayern Munich boss, spent two years as coach of Real, with his team defeating Atletico in the final of the 2014 Champions League.
Ancelotti insists that if he is to return to Spain, it would be to the Santiago Bernabeu again.
“No, I will never train Atleti or Barca,” he told Marca.
“I respect the history of the rivalry and in the same way, I couldn’t train either Lazio or Inter.
“It’s my story and respect is very important. I have a lot of respect for Atletico and Barcelona, but I can’t train them because I’ve coached Real Madrid for two years.”
