The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, has fixed Friday to deliver judgement on the appeal filed by Walter Onnoghen, convicted Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
Spokesperson of the Court, Sa’adatu Musa Kachalla made the disclosure in a statement issued on Thursday, and made available to Igbere TV.
“Notice is hereby given that The Appeal filed by Hon. Justice Walter Onnoghen is ripe for judgement, tomorrow morning in Abuja Division. Thank you for your usual cooperation,” the statement read.
The judgments are coming about three weeks after the CCT had convicted Onnoghen and ordered his removal as CJN.
Igbere TV recalls that the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) had convicted Onnoghen on six counts bordering on false assets declaration.
The Court of Appeal had earlier heard the appeals and reserved its judgments.
