On the other hand, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been on celebration mood since the news of the successful boycot of the election in Anambra hit the airwaves.
Former governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi and popular Nollywood actor Patience Ozokwor got it coming when angry youths nearly mobbed them at Onitsha 2 days to the election. The youths registered their grievances against the elites who obviously collude with enemies while making profit from the suffering of the masses.

See what the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra said about the successful boycott of Anambra elections.
Fellow Biafrans, today is a day to remember in the history of our land. Our people have spoken unequivocally with one voice that we have no business with the contraption called Nigeria and their elections.
Our landslide victory today by successfully boycutting the Anambra State gubernatorial elections was the result of our collective hard work and resoluteness.
In boycutting the elctions today, the Anambrarians are telling all Biafrans, Nigerians and the entire world that they are standing with our Supreme Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB who have come to free the Biafran people from the shackles of oppression, servitude and slavery.
Today’s victory is also going to serve as the stepping stone on which other ethnic nationalities in Biafraland will stand in boycutting all subsequent elections organized by the zoological republic of Nigeria in our land.

With today’s victory in Anambra the election observers, the international community and our foreign allies will know that we are serious in our agitation for freedom, and we can now count on their unadulterated support whenever we should wish to announce a date for our referendum.
I want to use this medium to thank all DOS members, all National and zonal coordinators, all principal officers and family members of IPOB in Europe, Aba, Igweocha and Anambra State in particular for our tenacity and resoluteness in what we all believe in, which is the freddom of our people and Nation Biafra.
May Chukwu Okike take all the glory, and may He continue to give us victory against all our enemies until Biafra is restored.
