Report reaching Igbere TV news room has it that Muhammed Mahmood, the board chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), has been kidnapped by some unknown gunmen along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
Igbere TV gathered that the UBEC chairman was abducted alongside his daughter on Monday afternoon while travelling from Kaduna to the federal capital territory (FCT).
The kidnappers ambushed the vehicle conveying the duo to Abuja around Katari, a village few kilometres from Zuba.
