The popular Chicken market in Aba, Abia State has reportedly been invaded armed men, Igbere TV has learnt.
Igbere TV gathered that the dare devil robbers have disposed traders of huge sum of money and other valuables.
Sources told Igbere TV that the market which is located at the back of Christ the King Cathedral in the heart of the commercial city of Aba, was raided by gunmen numbering about ten.
The source added that the robbers invaded the market in three tricycles and started shooting sporadically leaving sellers and buyers scampering for safety.
According to one of the traders who spoke to Igbere TV on the condition of anonymity, the robbery lasted for just five minutes which saw the robbers made away with all the money made by the traders on gunpoint.
