Former governor and Senator elect for Abia North, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has bagged an award.
Igbere TV reports that Kalu was honoured by an online media platform, Freedom Online in special recognition for his support towards the success of the second edition of the annual lecture of the news medium.
Kalu, who was the chairman of the event expressed his readiness to continue advancing freedom of speech and free media through the support of various media platforms.
The lecture which took place on Thursday, April 18th, 2019 at Radisson Blu, Ikeja, Lagos had in attendance His Excellency Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Governor, Ekiti State, His Excellency (Engr) Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Former Governor, Ogun state, Prof. Akin Onigbinde, Mr. Femi Adesina and the Host, Gabriel Akinadewo and other dignitaries.
Managing Director/Editor-In-Chief of Freedom Online, Mr. Gabriel Akinadewo, congratulated and thanked Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and others for making the program a success.
