The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced the date for the governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states.
In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Tuesday, the INEC Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education revealed that both Kogi and Bayelsa states elections will hold on 2nd November, 2019.
The commission also said that political parties should kick off their primary elections on 2nd – 29th August while Campaigns shall commence on 2nd August – 31st October.
