Sam Mbakwe International Airport, also known as Imo State Airport, Owerri, is currently on fire, Igbere TV can report.
Cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
However, sources told Igbere TV that both the arrival and departure section of the airport were affected in the inferno which started at about 2:10pm.
Igbere TV learnt that men of the Imo State Fire Service have arrived the scene and putting the situation under control.
