Former governor of Lagos State and current Minister of Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has said that Nigerians are now enjoying constant power supply.
Igbere TV reports that Fashola, made this known on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to him, Nigerians living in states like Kebbi and Yobe have a constant power supply.
He noted that the power distribution companies in those areas reported their consumers as saying that they do not need 24/7 power supply due to the high billing.
He also noted that Nigerians should expect an improved power supply before the end of the President Muhammadu Buhari government in 2023.
Although, he said the country has a long way to go before it achieves constant power supply.
