The Bauchi State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Bala Mohammed, has been announced as the winner of the 2019 governorship election in the state, Igbere TV reports.
Mohammed defeated incumbent Governor Muhammed Abubakar of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) to emerge winner.
Igbere TV reports that the pending result of Tafawa Balewa LGA was regenerated, collated and announced at the INEC headquarters on Monday night following a court order.
Announcing the result, the Collation Officer of Tafawa Balewa Local government, Musa Dahiru, said that PDP polled 39,225 votes as against 30,055 votes scored by the APC’s incumbent governor Abubakar.
