BREAKING!!! PDP Wins Bauchi Guber Supplementary Election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Bala Mohammed, has won Saturday’s governorship supplementary election in Bauchi State, Igbere TV can report.

The INEC Returning Officer (RO) for the guber poll, Prof. Kyari Mohammed made the announcement on Sunday, barely 24 hours after the exercise.

According to the RO, the PDP candidate polled a total of 6,376 votes while his closest rivalry and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammed Abubakar, scored 5,117.

Igbere TV reports that Muhammed Abubakar is the incumbent governor of the state, seeking to govern Bauchi for another four years.

Meanwhile, Kyari Mohammed, the INEC Returning Officer in the state, on Sunday declared that he is in no position to declare PDP’s Mohammed as Governor-elect, being that the case involving Tafawa Balewa local government is still in court.
