The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed dates for the collation and announcement of Rivers State governorship election results, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reports that the announcement was made by the INEC Commissioner for Information and Voter Education, Festus Okoye, at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday.
He said the announcement of the result will take place between 2nd and 5th of April, 2019.
The Commission further stated that there will also be a supplementary election in the state.
The supplementary election will be conducted on the 13th April where necessary.
He added that issuance of certificate of return will be done on April 19.
