Mr. Garba Muhammad Butalawa, a Federal House of Representatives-elect under the All Progressives Congress (APC), representing Kura, Madobi and Garun Mallam in Kano State, has died, Igbere Tv reports.
According to reports gathered by Igbere Tv, Mr. Garba, who is very popular in his constituency, died over last weekend at Prime Clinic, Lamido Crescent, after a protracted illness.
Balarabe Shehu Butalawa, his personal driver when contacted, confirmed his death.
The secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano state, Mr. Bashir Sati, confirmed the lawmaker’s demise.
According to Mr. Bashir; “Though he has been sick for a while but we received the news of his demise with rude shock.”
